What is your WHY?

Where does one start? The very first post from a new blogger…what should it be about?

Maybe this is why it took me 7 years plus to actually begin something I have thought about and dreamed of for way too long. And truthfully I am just behind, always behind especially when it comes to technology and the latest trends. I catch up but sometimes a new trend has started when I finally figure out the one previous. But tonight…TONIGHT I sit here actually writing MY first article for MY first blog. How fun! Comment and tell me your secret dream or goal you want to accomplish.

Do I have anything new worth saying and publishing? Nope, probably not! Am I an expert in anything? Nope, definitely not! What I CAN be for you is real. Just little ol’ me in East Tennessee struggling some days and thriving others all through the grace of God the Father and my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. It is only because of Christ that I am where I am and who I am today.

Why am I doing this? First, it is purely selfish. I enjoy writing even I don’t feel I am great at it. Second, it has been a dream of mine for years now. So I finally am going to stop talking about it and DO IT. Well, I really didn’t even talk about it much because it felt so unattainable. This is the most simple way I could come up with to write and basically have an online journal to express myself and share thoughts with others. Thirdly, I hope my story, my perspective and my leaning on Scripture for the ultimate truth will inspire, encourage and spur you on to worship and good deeds. We all need community through each other and we all must have a place where we can feel safe to learn and grow. I do this for myself but if I can make one person’s day better or give a momma encouragement in a hard season or allow a young lady to dream big and depend on an even bigger God to live out who He has called her to be then it will be life giving to me and worth all the work.
